Week 47: A short break from training!

9/18/14
Hola Familia y Amigas,
So this week has been so so great and I had a short little break to help me rejuvenate my energy to train. Hermana Howe went to Concè for two full days for her conference for new missionaries.  I love Hermana Howe to death and I missed her a lot those two days, but I did not miss training that much, if I am just being honest! It was great to have missionaries to help me teach who have more experience and can speak the language.  I was in a trio still here in Bulnes with Hermana Qunitana and Hermana Mendoza.  It was great to see them go at it with great unity.  I have forgotten what missionary work is like when both in the companionship have time in the mission.  I learned a lot from them those two days.  And  they are both just so funny!!  And they both freak out about everything.  It is so fun and I have loved living with them these past two cambios.
Well anyways our challenge this week has been getting our investigators to church.  We have been finding a lot of new investigators these past few weeks, but not one of our 10 investigators are really progressing and coming to church.  And so many said they were and we even passed by their houses and called them on Saturday and Sunday.  And none came.  It is just so frustrating!  And Yubeniz was not at church either. She was at her daughters house in Chillan.  And she is just having a hard time in her family, with Rene her husband not wanting to get baptized anymore and with her kids. And I know that going to her daughters house was her retreat from all her worries, but I know coming to church would have blessed her more, because God would be obligated to bless here, and now she doesn't have that promise to be blessed as much as she could have been.  Especially because she needs the blessings even more.  And I can`t receive those blessings for her.  No matter how much I want to.
But I know that I also need to apply this to my own life, because I am not perfect and I can and want to be even more obedient to the mission rules and the commandments, so that I can receive the blessings that God is willing to give me.  So if you want blessings in your life, just be more obedient!!

Oh and I have read Mosiah 13 to 19 I think!!
I love you all a lot!  And have a great week!!
Con amor,
Hermana Corbett
